Opportunities Include
Client Facing Opportunities: (Must be 18 or older)
- Access Center Volunteer: Help create a welcoming environment and build relationships with guests during our access center hours.
- Service Provider: Are you a dentist, podiatrist, optometrist, chiropractor, hair stylist, or another professional that can provide a meaningful service at one of our One Day Events, Access Center, or Shelter? Please reach out!
- Food Volunteer: If you have a food handler’s permit, help prepare and/or serve a meal for 50-80 people.
- One-Day Event Volunteer: Help sign people up for haircuts or other services to coordinate “appointments” for services throughout the day.
- Life Skills Volunteer: Teach alongside our staff during a life skills workshop. This could be about financial management, health and wellness, or other topics that help individuals on their paths toward stability and self-reliance.
- Employment Volunteer: Support clients in their job searches and in developing their job skills.
Behind the Scenes Opportunities: (Minors with prior permission only)
- Keep Us Organized: Help us organize donations for our clothing closet.
- Facility and Grounds Improvement: Paint walls, organize resources, perform yard work, and more.
- Fundraising Support: Host a campaign or donation drive for us, or invite us to speak with a group from your social circle.
- One-Day Event: Help us set up or take down tables and chairs for the event. Set-up typically takes place the night before and morning of the event. Take-down is immediately after the event.
