One-Day Events are one of Washington County’s largest collaborative events, bringing more than sixty service providers in one space to provide essential, life-changing services and resources free of charge. Hundreds of individuals and families experiencing housing instability come to these events. In just a single day, participants can access a wide range of support that might otherwise take months to secure—or may never be affordable. Services may include dental care, eyeglasses, haircuts, veterinary care, chiropractic adjustments, mental health and addiction counseling, assistance with social service applications, connections to second-chance employment opportunities, Reiki healing, HIV testing, and more. We host these events three times a year: Hillsboro in the spring, Beaverton in the summer, and Tigard in the fall.
